Do I need to be fit to train at Athletic HQ?

The short answer is no. Fitness is very different for different people. Being fit is a notion, and an idea, and everyone should have the opportunity to become fitter at their own pace.

How many times a week should I train?

Fitting in training is sometimes challenging and can often become expensive, so we advise to start at 1 session per week and only increase your sessions if it’s practical and economical to do so.

Will you measure my progress and help me with goal setting?

Absolutely! There are many ways to track your physical, and mental progression. Weight, measurements, before/after photos, running times, steps per day, dress sizes, fitness app tracking, consistency with training, mood and mental clarity, these are just a few of the ways we can monitor progression and help you goal set.

What introductory offers do you provide?

Simple. We have 3 DISCOVERY packages offered at Athletic HQ:

1. DISCOVER CLASSES - 2 weeks of unlimited access to our group classes. Not only do our class sizes remain small so that you get close technique observation but they incorporate all of our favorite training styles. Best suited to those who have fewer limitations and have experience training inside other gyms or studios.

2. DISCOVER PT - your comprehensive starter pack for body transformations. This will include 2 hours of face to face training & consulting. We will cover a complete intake review, stress management protocol, strength programming, structural assessment, and much more. This is ideal for those wanted a fresh overview of their health and fitness and have big plans for their training and composition.

3. DISCOVER ATHLETIC HQ - A combination of both DISCOVER CLASSES & DISCOVER PT, allowing you to experience everything our studio has to offer over the course of 3 weeks.

Do you help with nutrition & meal planning?

Of course. A great training regiment can be ineffective without proper nutrition and structure to support your body. Not only managing your caloric intake, but also the break down of both Macro & Micro nutrients will be in integral part of our goal setting and ongoing monitoring.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring a towel and water bottle to each session. Towel hire and water bottles are available for $3 respectively if you forget either at home.

Where do I park?
There is plenty of on street parking both on railway road & cottage st. Depending on the time of day you will have time restricted 1hr & 2hr parking, at other times there are no time restrictions.
