Semi-Private Coaching, Myotherapy, & Nutrition
How does you semi-private coaching work?
Semi-Private Coaching is 12 weeks of tailored training with programming and ongoing support outside of your session. There are a maximum of 3 clients in any session, and trainers will be spending a lot of time teaching you correct techniques and how to approach exercises for maximum training outcomes. Our coaching program also includes an exercise tutorial library and weekly checkins and QNA’s via our private members facebook group. All sessions are 45 minutes in length and allow 15 minutes post workout to cool down, wipe down, and exit safely.
Do I need to be fit to train at Athletic HQ?
The short answer is no. Fitness is very different for different people. Being fit is a notion, and an idea, and everyone should have the opportunity to become fitter at their own pace.
How many times a week should I train?
This depends on the individual. Goals impact this greatly along with experience level and injury history. We recommend to have a conversation with your trainer so help set goals & organise a training schedule from there. Those who have very specific, time bound goals are encouraged to train at AHQ at least twice per week, 3 times only if more specific attention is needed.
How will you track my progress?
All clients will receive tailored training programs that progress not only in strength but also in movement and range of motion. We track clients differently based on the goals, for someone trying to reduce neck pain we might place more emphasis on building strength and tension in key weakness areas. If a client would like to focus on weight reduction and body composition changes we can steer more towards measurements, photos, and scale weight.
Do you help with nutrition & meal planning?
Yes, we have qualified nutritionist’s in house who support our semi private coaching and also offering private coaching as well.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a towel and water bottle to each session. Towel hire and water bottles are available for $3 respectively if you forget either at home.
Where do I park?
There is plenty of on street parking both on railway road & cottage st. Depending on the time of day you will have time restricted 1hr & 2hr parking, at other times there are no time restrictions.
